Pekanbaru, 27 February 2025 - The Department of Government Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Riau University, won the Overall Champion in achieving the Main Performance Indicators (KPI) at the faculty level. This achievement was announced during the 2026 Planning and Budgeting Work Meeting at FISIP Riau University on Thursday (27 February).
This success is clear evidence of the Department of Government Science's commitment to improving academic quality, research, and community service. Dr Auradian Marta, S.IP, M.Si, as Plt. Head of the Riau University Government Science Department expressed his high appreciation to all lecturers, students, and education staff who have contributed to this achievement.
‘We are very grateful and proud of this achievement. This is the result of the hard work of the entire academic community of the Department of Government Science. Hopefully this achievement can be maintained and improved in the future,’ he said.
As a form of appreciation, the Department of Government Science received a grand prize of Rp. 4,000,000, - and Rp. 2,000,000, - for the prize for achieving key performance indicators 6. This prize is expected to be a motivation for all members of the department to continue to innovate and improve academic quality and contribution at the faculty and university levels.
With this success, the Department of Government Science is ready to continue various strategic programmes to maintain brilliant achievements in the future.
